At the heart of the passion in our business, is Rex Prebble. He joined Christchurch Electrical as Service Manager, he is now the Managing Director of a successful electrical firm with over 90 staff - but that didn’t happen by chance.

Over the years, Rex’s infectious passion for the business along with his drive and motivation has been inspiration for many.

His individual passion is translated on a daily basis into a drive, a focus for quality service delivery and relationship building that is hard to match.

When asked in a recent interview what advice he would give his younger self, he said he would tell him to get his career underway as soon as possible. To undertake more personal development and gain more sales experience at an earlier stage, which is no surprise as Rex has always been an inherently competitive person with a strong willingness to strive and succeed. His commitment to his passion and growth mindset from the start is clear.

Without this unwavering commitment, would the business be where it is today? Probably not, but is the passion of one person enough to create long term success?

As the saying goes, no man is an island. Rex attributes the success of the business in part, to the nurturing of passion within the management team for their own specialist services and for the business as a whole - that is dedication they in turn flow through to their staff and the service delivered to their clients.
