Collaboration: Christchurch Electrical Teams Up with Energylight Christchurch

Christchurch Electrical have enjoyed working together with Energylight on numerous projects over the years and have recently worked with them when our boardroom underwent a makeover.

Energylight are fantastic to work with, the comprehensive service they provide is great, from the design phase through to completion, everything is smooth, with no detail missed.

We love to support local and Energylight is a Christchurch business that sources a lot of their materials locally, which is a definite plus point.

Another big bonus is that they have a very helpful in-house technical team that can assist with any questions or details you could have regarding any commercial lighting installation. This eliminates the chance of mistakes during the first fix stage of a project that are hard to rectify in the second fix.

ENERGYLINE 65 was the luminaire selected in our refreshed boardroom and was an easy fitting to work with. The New Zealand made ENERGYLINE 65 product, arrives on site ready to install in sustainable packaging. The installation instructions are clear and the fitting itself does not need to be completely disassembled to be installed. All we needed to do is remove the internals with the plastic guides that were already attached. The impressive Accu-Join technology allows you to screwfix through the fitting and click the internals back into place. The wiring is already factory installed with a tail long enough for us to join onto in the ceiling space. The all-in-one driver installed provides multiple options for dimming. We went with the easy push to dim option and installed a 240V push mech on the wall to dim the fitting.

In another recent project collaboration, we installed 100 linear meters of Energyline fittings in all forms and shapes. Ranging from 16.5m long recessed fittings to suspended fittings in triangle shapes installed at different heights and standard 1200mm recessed fittings. All of these arrived on site un-damaged, in perfect powder coated condition, labelled clearly and correctly. The first fix installation was well prepared with the installation manuals provided being very clear - exactly what we require on any of our projects to make sure that the second fix goes smoothly.
